Rise and Grind Mondays - February 25th

Failing 5,126 Times but still succeeding

Did you know there was a British inventor named James Dyson who had a passion for vacuums. He spent five years working on his innovation. On his 5,127th attempt he succeeded with his idea. His invention was a dual cyclone bagless vacuum cleaner. He pitched his invention to global companies such as Hoover. However, Hoover rejected the idea because all they saw were the sales they were making from bags in vacuum cleaners.

Nobody bought his invention so he sold it directly to consumers and in Japan. He eventually sold it in the United Kingdom and it became a hit reaching the rank of best-selling vacuum cleaner beating out manufacturers that had once rejected his idea.

Moral of the story….No matter how many times you fail don’t give up. The moment you want to slow down is the moment you should accelerate.
